Westin Hotel Tokyo Offers Three Cold Noodle Dishes Until September 30, Weekday Lunch Only
IHG Hotels & Resorts will open the “InterContinental Sapporo” on October 1.
Located on the 9th to 14th floors of the “Lilac Square,” a multipurpose building under development as a part of the “AXA Sapporo Nakajima Park Project” by AXA Life Insurance, the hotel offers a total of 149 guest rooms including 13 suites.
The public spaces feature a lobby with a water basin, a fire lounge with a fireplace, and a lounge area surrounded by greenery. Additionally, the hotel offers an indoor heated pool, fitness gym, terrace, and meeting rooms.
The dining options include the all-day dining “AuBlanc,” overlooking the Toyohira River through glass, and the specialty restaurant “Sawaka,” featuring a 12-seat counter where guests can enjoy the craftsmanship of the chefs upfront with an omakase-style menu. “Sawaka” offers omakase courses using primarily Hokkaido ingredients as well as those from across Japan and the world, with dishes prepared using techniques such as charcoal grilling and low-temperature cooking. “AuBlanc” provides freshly baked bread and a breakfast buffet in the morning, a buffet lunch incorporating local vegetables and hot dishes at noon, a weekend-only buffet with seasonal sweets in the afternoon, and a full-course or à la carte dinner at night.
Access is a 5-minute walk from Nakajima Koen Subway Station and approximately a 10-minute drive from JR Sapporo Station.
