
JAL and AA Consider Adding Alaska Airlines Group to Joint Venture
Qatar Airways and Kenya Airways have signed a strategic partnership memorandum.
The two airlines will conduct code-sharing operations, and Qatar Airways will increase its Doha-Nairobi route to three round trips per day. Kenya Airways will open a new Mombasa-Doha route. They are also considering collaboration in areas such as airport and ground services, product development, loyalty programs, procurement, cargo, and maintenance.
Qatar Airways is strengthening its African network through investments in Airlink. Kenya Airways, which has turned a profit for the first time in over ten years, is accelerating its efforts to boost tourism and cargo business.
