HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO will offer the “Shine Muscat & Peach Afternoon Tea” from July 14 to September 30.
Beginning with a welcome tea enjoyed amidst the beautiful traditional crafts of Kyoto, the theme focuses on seven kinds of sweets and six kinds of savory items featuring Shine Muscat and peach. Guests can also savor high-quality gyokuro from the “Yanagi Sakuraen Tea Shop,” which has a store on the same Nijo-dori street as the hotel. The menu includes a charmingly peach-shaped “Peach Mousse,” a “Tartlet” encapsulating the refreshing juiciness of Shine Muscat, “Shine Muscat and Burrata Parfait Style,” and “Spring Rolls with Shrimp and Shine Muscat.” For drinks, enjoy a selection of over 20 types of free-flow beverages, including three types of original mocktails with a fruity frozen dessert-style finish and teas by TWG.
The location is the bar & lounge “THE GARDEN BAR.” The time slots are split into two sessions of two hours each, starting at noon and 2:30 p.m. The price is 8,800 yen, including tax and service charge.
