
Hotel New Otani Hosts ‘Detective Conan’ Collaboration Buffet
ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Fukuoka is collaborating with Marine World Uminonakamichi to offer the “Aquarium Dessert Buffet ~Friends of the Sea~” on weekends from June 1 to August 31.
The dessert menu includes around 30 charming-looking sweets such as a melon shortcake where a garden eel makes a cute appearance, called “Cute Garden Eel Melon Shortcake,” and “Sakura-chan’s White Chocolate Mousse,” which is inspired by the lovely spotted seal Sakura-chan and features a cream combining passion fruit and mango wrapped in milky white chocolate mousse. There’s also “Mama Luna and Stella Likable Dolphin Family Banana Roll Cake,” where a chocolate dolphin swims energetically on ocean blue cream that wraps fresh cream and banana.
The meal menu offers 10 types of dishes including a smooth hummus and “Garden Eel Dip” where garden eel grissini peek out, and “Marine Blue Curry,” with firmly spiced, marine-blue color enjoyed with naan bread made from bamboo charcoal, inspired by the pygmy killer whale Yuki.
The location is the all-day dining Crown Café. The buffet is available from 3 PM to 4:30 PM with a 90-minute time limit. The price is 5,000 yen for adults, 2,800 yen for elementary school children, 1,500 yen for pre-school children aged 4 to 6, and free for children aged 3 and below, tax and service charge included. Children in elementary school and younger will receive a bonus wonder capsule toy.
