Finnair announced that it has reached an agreement with the Service Sector Employers’ Association (Palta) and the Finnish Aviation Union (IAU).
These unions include members from the technical services, inflight catering facilities, and customer service departments at Helsinki Vantaa International Airport. The settlement proposal presented by the National Conciliator was approved. This forms the basis for a new labor agreement concerning airline services, which will be valid until January 15, 2027.
As a result, the strike planned for after July 16th has been averted, and operations will continue as usual.
