Grand Mercure Okinawa Cape Zanpa Resort will open the “Executive Lounge” on the 13th floor, the top floor, on July 26.
During the day, guests can enjoy a refreshing atmosphere with the beautifully clear ocean and blue sky. In the evening, the sunset sinking into the horizon provides a dramatic ambiance. Cape Zanpa is known as the last place on the main island of Okinawa where the sunset goes down, sometimes reflecting beautifully over the ocean like a path of light.
For breakfast, the lounge offers ten types of freshly baked bread, including croissants and baguettes with sea lettuce, as well as fruits and cheeses, Agu pork bacon, egg dishes, and honeycombs to pair with bread or yogurt, focusing on Western cuisine with sparkling alcoholic beverages also available. For tea time, guests can choose from eight types of sweets such as Okinawan donuts, purple sweet potato cakes, fruit jelly, and mango pudding, and enjoy them with coffee or herbal tea. In the evening, wines such as “CHANDON BRUT” are available along with appetizers. During the post-dinner hours, the selection of alcohol expands to include “Moët & Chandon,” “Ryukyu Awamori Zanpa Premium,” whiskey, and shochu.
Operating hours are from 6:30 AM to 9:30 AM for breakfast, 3 PM to 5 PM for tea time, 5 PM to 7 PM for the evening, and 9 PM to 11 PM for the nightcap.
Eligible guests are those staying in the “Executive Twin,” “Executive Junior Suite (Japanese Room) Ocean View,” “Executive Junior Suite (Japanese-Western Room) Ocean View,” “Executive Suite Ocean View,” and “Executive Suite (Japanese-Western Room) Ocean View” rooms on the Executive Floors, 10th to 12th floors.
