AirAsia X announced the launch of its Kuala Lumpur-Tashkent route on October 15.
The airline will operate 3 weekly round trips on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, utilizing Airbus A330 aircraft. The flight duration is 9 and a half hours from Kuala Lumpur and 7 hours 40 minutes from Tashkent.
This marks the second city in Central Asia, following Almaty in Kazakhstan. The Almaty route, launched in 2024, has achieved high load factors with increased flights.
