Japan Airlines (JAL) will revert the first Airbus A350-1000 aircraft (registration number: JA01WJ) to standard livery.
The first and second aircraft (same: JA01WJ) were launched as special decal aircraft, with the second aircraft returning to standard livery in April. The first aircraft began operations as a special decal aircraft from its first flight on January 24, 2024. It will end operations as a special decal aircraft by the end of July, and return to standard livery from August onwards. The decision was made due to the durability of the decals and maintenance schedule.
