
Emirates Launches Airbus A350-900 on Dubai-Muscat Route
Gulf Air will introduce up to 18 additional Boeing 787 aircraft.
Boeing’s Stephanie Pope, President and CEO of Boeing Commercial Airplanes, and Gulf Air Group Chairman Khalid Hakee signed the contract in the presence of Bahrain’s Minister of Finance and National Economy Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa and U.S. Secretary of Commerce Howard Lutnick. The order consists of 12 confirmed aircraft and 6 options.
The airline already operates 10 Boeing 787 aircraft and uses them as flagship equipment for its long-haul routes to Asia, Europe, and the United States.
