InterContinental Hotel Osaka Offers Summer Sweets Featuring Seasonal Peaches and Melons
Kyoritsu Maintenance will pre-open “Natural Hot Spring Higo-no-Yu, Onyado Nono Kumamoto” on August 20.
This will be the first opening in Kumamoto Prefecture under the “Onyado Nono” brand, a Japanese-style premium hotel featuring tatami floors throughout. The building is 11 stories high and offers a total of 191 rooms in four types: double, twin, fourth, and universal rooms. The hotel includes two large public baths, a manga corner, a laundry corner, a restaurant, and a smoking area.
The interior is themed around the elegant and dignified ‘Higo Rokka,’ fitting for “Kumamoto, a town of samurai culture.” The large baths are equipped with natural hot spring water on the top floor, featuring a high-temperature dry sauna (auto löyly), cold bath, and outdoor air bath space. Ice cream, lactic acid drinks, and the nighttime snack “Yonaki Soba” are offered free of charge.
Access is approximately a 6-minute walk from Karashimacho station on the Kumamoto City Tram, or about a 30-minute drive from Kumamoto Interchange (IC) on the Kyushu Expressway.
