Sheraton Grand Hotel Hiroshima will offer a summer-only sweets buffet, “Sheraton Summer Party with Häagen-Dazs Ice Cream,” featuring Häagen-Dazs ice cream, exclusively on weekends and holidays from July 1st to August 31st.
In this monthly changing sweets buffet, desserts and light meals using seasonal fruits will be available. A special dessert, prepared right in front of you by patissiers, will use Häagen-Dazs ice cream with a choice from four flavors: vanilla, caramel, strawberry, and green tea. This event is planned in collaboration with Executive Pastry Chef Arata Nakagawa, the hotel’s KOL (Key Opinion Leader) Mayu Asada, and Hiroshima’s mom influencer Namika Masui. The “Original Parfait” experience using Häagen-Dazs ice cream allows you to create your own custom parfait by combining decorations like mini cookies, heart macarons, and chocolate-coated popcorn.
The theme for July is “Kawaii.” Enjoy pastel-colored hotel-made sweets, refreshing and colorful parfaits, sparkling jelly, and charmingly shaped cakes in a vibrant world. Collaborative sweets with Namika Masui, such as “Berry Crunchy Macaron” and “Strawberry Pop,” are experiential sweets inspired by trends of the Heisei era.
August’s theme is “Summer Festival.” With the image of “reminiscence of the festival,” offerings include caramel mousse inspired by candied apples, takoyaki cream puffs, and jelly with swimming goldfish. Collaborative menus with Mayu Asada, such as “gluten-free pancakes” and “kids’ welcome fruit plate” for children under three, are enjoyable for both young children and health-conscious individuals.
The venue is the buffet restaurant “Bridge” on the lobby floor. The time is from 3 PM to 4:30 PM. The price is 3,900 yen, 1,950 yen for children aged 4 to 12, and free for children under 3. Tax and service charges included.
