IHG Hotels & Resorts and Hainan Airlines have strengthened their partnership to launch a co-branded airport lounge and offer business class in-flight meals.
The concept is “Where Dreams Bloom, Journey to an Oasis,” marking the 50th anniversary of IHG’s expansion into the Greater China region. They aim to provide a seamless end-to-end travel experience.
A co-branded lounge has been established at Terminal 2 of Shanghai Pudong International Airport. Inspired by a “Garden Oasis,” it blends IHG’s timeless elegance with Hainan Airlines’ “Dream Feather” design elements. It features buffet islands, live cooking stations, and dining and relaxation zones.
In the lounge, inspired by IHG’s signature Chinese restaurant “Cai Feng Lou,” dishes from the “10 Bites of Cai Feng Lou” menu are offered, along with rich soup dumplings and special coconut white tea. In business class in-flight, a menu titled “Taste of Suzhou and Hainan” is provided.
