Strings Hotel Tokyo InterContinental will offer ‘Chinese Afternoon Tea: Mango Bijun Tea Party’ from August 1 to September 30.
The sweets include rich and refreshing Hong Kong-style smoothies with bird’s nest and mango, as well as sweet and sour ‘Mango and Lychee Shaoxing Wine Marinated’ and tropical ‘Melon Jelly and Coconut Milk Pudding’. Savory options feature ‘Grilled Snow Crab XO Cheese’, ‘Shrimp with Mango Mayonnaise and Golden Berries’, ‘Stir-Fried Highland Lettuce from Saku City, Nagano Prefecture with Oyster Sauce’. Optional menu (each 550 yen) includes ‘Jade Cold Noodles with Kishu Nanbai Plum and Yuzu Sesame Flavor’ and ‘Baked Sanratanmen in Clay Pot’. Drinks come with a 90-minute Chinese tea free-flow.
