Daiwa LifeNext opened “GRAND HOSTEL LDK Tokyo Nishi-Kasai” on May 28.
The hostel is designed with the concept of “a large house (LDK) where travelers gather,” and is a complete renovation of a former sports club building.
The building is five stories high, offering three types of rooms: dormitory rooms (154 beds in 9 rooms), group private rooms (3 to 6 people in 9 rooms), and hotel private rooms (2 to 8 people in 22 rooms). In addition to the standard type, dormitory rooms include options like “Female-only Dormitory” and “Single Dormitory” to ensure private space. A card key security door is installed at the entrance, and an island kitchen is included in the 8-person rooms, which can be used by two households.
The common areas within the facility include a “Share Kitchen” equipped with large freezers, refrigerators, and cooking utensils, and a “Deckside Lounge” inspired by a seaside wooden deck. On the fourth floor, a “Beach Lounge” is available, projecting projection mapping and special programs from sunset to 11 p.m. The attached “Café & Bar” offers drinks with a beach resort theme.
Access is approximately a 4-minute walk from Tokyo Metro Nishi-Kasai Station.
