InterContinental Hotel Osaka Offers Summer Sweets Featuring Seasonal Peaches and Melons
Hyatt Regency Kyoto, in partnership with Kyoto Aquarium, will offer its first ‘Collaboration Afternoon Tea’ from July 5 to August 24.
Kyoto Aquarium, based on the concept ‘Life Connected with Water,’ is the largest inland aquarium in Japan that uses 100% artificial seawater, showcasing creatures inhabiting the Kamo River and Yura River, as well as marine life. The afternoon tea will feature six motifs inspired by approximately 250 species and a total of about 15,000 specimens at the Kyoto Aquarium: ‘Giant Salamander Cream Puff,’ ‘Milk Chocolate Mousse Penguin,’ ‘Pink Jellyfish,’ ‘Peach Jelly Seal,’ ‘Dolphin Icing Cookie,’ and ‘Mango Cream Tart with Spotted Garden Eel.’ For savory items, the menu includes a shrimp fry burger in mini brioche and a seaweed salad. Guests can also enjoy free-flow drinks.
The venue is ‘All Day Dining & Cafe 33,’ available from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The price is 5,500 yen, and a plan with Kyoto Aquarium ticket is 7,400 yen, including tax and service charge. Advance reservations are required.
