North Atlantic Airways will launch the Manchester-Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi route on November 26.
The airline will operate one round trip per week on Wednesdays. The aircraft used will be the Boeing 787-9. The flight duration is 11 and a half hours from Manchester and 13 hours and 15 minutes from Bangkok/Suvarnabhumi.
According to North Atlantic Airways, more than 100,000 people use connecting flights between the two cities annually, and it is estimated that over 100,000 are diverted to other airports. The airline aims to offer an affordable direct flight on a route with insufficient supply.
