Hotel Nikko Narita will host the “Melon Fair: Tropical Hawaiian Fest” from July 1 to 31.
They will offer about 20 types of dishes inspired by authentic Hawaiian local food, such as “Mochiko Chicken,” with chicken fried in batter containing rice flour, and “Salmon Sauté with Lilikoi Butter Sauce,” using “Lilikoi,” the Hawaiian word for passion fruit, as a sauce. In addition, there is a corner where you can customize your favorite ingredients like hamburger, soft-boiled eggs, seasoned tuna, cheese, avocado, cucumber, and tomato onto rice to make Loco Moco or Poke bowls to your liking. There will also be an open kitchen where chefs will cut and serve fresh melon and roast beef.
During weekend and holiday lunch times, there will be a “Melon Challenge Lottery” where you can win a whole melon instantly. The lottery is open to elementary school children and above.
