Ministry of Foreign Affairs Lowers or Lifts Danger Levels in Middle Eastern Countries
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has lowered or lifted the danger levels for various Middle Eastern countries.
The Level 1 advisory (Alert) for the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Qatar, and Oman has been lifted.
Additionally, parts of Israel have seen a reduction from Level 3 (Travel Advisory) to Level 2 (Avoid Non-Essential Travel), while Iran’s advisory level, except for the border regions with Pakistan, Iraq, and Afghanistan, was lowered from Level 4 (Evacuation Advisory) to Level 3.
The reasons cited include the limited nature of attacks, such as the June 22nd U.S. military strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities and Iran’s subsequent retaliatory strike on a U.S. military base in Qatar, which targeted only a base far from urban areas and was pre-notified. Furthermore, the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Iran has been observed to result in a calming of the situation.
