China Airlines will open its Taipei/Taoyuan-Phoenix route on December 3.
It will operate three round-trip flights per week on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, using the Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The flight departing Phoenix will pass through Los Angeles. The travel time is 12 hours and 5 minutes from Taipei/Taoyuan and 18 hours and 35 minutes from Phoenix.
Phoenix, the capital of the state of Arizona, USA, is emerging as a technology hub, fueling business demand. As the first Asian airline, it will begin service to Phoenix. Beyond Phoenix, it connects to the network of its partner, Southwest Airlines.
