Japan Airlines (JAL) will conduct a one-day charter tour featuring the special livery aircraft “JAL Gundam JET” on August 29.
The round-trip flight from/to Osaka/Kansai will show special videos during the flight related to the Osaka Kansai Expo’s “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION.” Before departure, there will be a talk session by video director Takanori Tsujimoto and Shinji Takeda, who voices the role of Zeong. Upon arrival, a 30-minute photo session will allow participants to take close-up shots of the aircraft at the parking space.
Additional benefits include entrance tickets to the Osaka Kansai Expo and the “GUNDAM NEXT FUTURE PAVILION,” along with a JAL original boarding certificate. Optional purchases include a “Titanium Plate Boarding Certificate” and a “JAL Special Edition Gundam Model + JAL Flight Tag.”
The tour is open to 145 participants, with a minimum of 120 needed to proceed. Prices start at 34,800 yen for the charter event only in an economy seat, and from 46,800 yen for one night’s accommodation (two people per room). An extra fee of 2,000 yen applies for Class J seats. The first application period runs from July 18 at 3 PM to July 27, and the second from July 28 to August 5.
