LOT Polish Airlines has unveiled the new economy class seats for the Boeing 737-8.
The seats are the “R2” model from Recaro Aircraft Seating. They feature a lightweight design that considers ergonomics, with high functionality. The seats include a digital device holder, contoured backrest, lightweight sliding tray table, and a six-way adjustable headrest.
The interior of the aircraft will be completely redesigned to have a similar design to the lounges in Warsaw and Chicago. LOT also plans to refresh the interior of their Boeing 787 aircraft to achieve a unified look throughout the fleet.
The same seats will also be installed on the Airbus A220 aircraft. They are manufactured at Recaro’s factory in Świebodzin, Poland.
