Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel will offer the “Hokkaido Fair: Summer Gastronomic Exploration – Hakodate & Sapporo” from August 1 to September 30.
The menu features a selection of ingredients carefully chosen by the head chef after visiting Hokkaido and listening to the producers. In the performance corner, where dishes are prepared right before your eyes, they offer teppanyaki of Hokkaido beef known for its high-quality lean meat, and risotto made with the rare and difficult-to-cultivate white corn “Pure White.” Additionally, they serve altered dishes of Hokkaido’s local and specialty cuisines such as salmon “Chanchan-yaki” and Hakodate’s specialty Cisco Rice. Desserts unique to Hokkaido are also available, such as fluffy souffle cheesecake made with Hokkaido cheese and a brulee with organic pumpkin “Kuririn from Miyoisan’s Farm.”
The event takes place at the 2nd floor’s “Buffet Dining Kehhel.” Lunch is from 11:30 AM to 3 PM, with last orders at 2:30 PM. Dinner is from 5 PM to 9:30 PM, with last orders at 9 PM. Prices start at 5,000 yen for lunch and 7,500 yen for dinner, tax included, service charge excluded.
