Iconia Hospitality rebranded and opened the former Flexstay Inn Hakodate Station as “Hotel Mystays Hakodate Station” on July 18.
At the former Flexstay Inn Hakodate Station, a Sky View 4-Bed Bunk Room, three Deluxe 4-Bed Bunk Rooms, and a Sky View Triple Room were newly established, expanding the number of guest rooms from 271 to 277. The newly established rooms feature a sepia color scheme. Additionally, some rooms like the Semi-double Room and Triple Room have been renovated with additional outlets installed on the bed headboard. In some rooms, the showerheads and hairdryers have been changed to “ReFa.”
The hotel added a new self-cloakroom available free of charge for guests, equipped with two types: a safe type for storing small bags and a wire type for securing carry-on cases. The restaurant increased its seating capacity from 70 to 83 seats. The breakfast menu consists of about 40 types of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes, including Szechuan Spicy Mapo Tofu, Seafood Jingisukan (a local Hokkaido dish of grilled seafood and meat), and Hakodate Salt Ramen.
The hotel is approximately a 3-minute walk from JR Hakodate Station.
