Sunshine City Prince Hotel is hosting the “Melon & Mango Sweets Buffet” from July 1 to August 31.
This is the fourth installment of the sweets buffet in celebration of the hotel’s 45th anniversary. The melons used include the green-fleshed “Takami Melon” and “Furano Melon,” selected according to their seasons. There will be nine types of mango-based sweets available. Examples from the menu include the “Whole Melon Ice Cake,” which uses half a melon as a bowl with its flesh cut out and served by a patissier right in front of you upon order, adorable tri-color melon balls, mango Mont Blanc, sherbet, and a parfait using Miyazaki mango (limited to one per person). Additionally, fifteen meal options are available, including spicy jambalaya, pizza with summer vegetables, cold potage, pasta, and more.
The venue is Cafe & Dining Chef’s Palette. Service times are weekdays from 2:30 PM and weekends and holidays from 11:30 AM, 2:30 PM, and 5:30 PM, each with a two-hour limit. The price is 5,000 yen on weekdays and 5,500 yen on weekends and holidays, all prices include tax but exclude service charges.
