Japan Airlines (JAL) has scheduled temporary flights on the Tokyo/Haneda to Yamagata route during the Obon period.
As the Yamagata Shinkansen will suspend 66 temporary train services, JAL will operate a round trip with two flights on August 17, using Embraer E190 aircraft.
This will result in a total of three round trips being operated on the same day.
