Singapore Airlines and Garuda Indonesia Strengthen Partnership
ANA Holdings fully acquired Nippon Cargo Airlines (NCA) as a subsidiary on August 1.
Initially, the complete conversion into a subsidiary was expected in October 2023, but due to the time-consuming reviews by various authorities worldwide, it was postponed eight times.
Nippon Yusen transferred all shares of NCA to ANA Holdings through a stock exchange. As a result, Nippon Yusen acquired 3,926,000 shares of ANA Holdings’ common stock.
NCA owns eight Boeing 747-8F aircraft and operates in 12 cities. Additionally, it leases seven Boeing 747-400F aircraft to Atlas Air and ASL Airlines Belgium. Hiroyuki Honma will continue to serve as President.
ANA Cargo, under the umbrella of ANA Holdings, owns two Boeing 777F and six Boeing 767F aircraft. Post-integration, it will rank 14th globally in terms of transport weight.
