
ANA Ends Operation of Special ‘Star Wars’ Painted Aircraft ‘R2-D2’ and ‘C-3PO’
Korean Air will introduce a premium economy class called ‘Premium Class.’
The seats, known as ‘Premium Seats,’ are arranged in a ‘2-4-2’ configuration, providing a total of 40 seats. Utilizing approximately 1.5 times the space of economy class, the seat pitch is about 39-41 inches, the seat width is 19.5 inches, and the recline angle is 130 degrees. A leg rest, footrest, and privacy wings on both sides of the headrest are installed. The monitor size is 15.6 inches and supports 4K.
In-flight meals are the same menu as business class, served on the same dishware. Passengers can also enjoy services such as check-in at the Morning Calm Counter, priority boarding, and priority baggage claim. The fare is expected to be about 110% of the price of economy class.
The Premium Class will be installed on 11 Boeing 777-300ER aircraft and gradually introduced on short- and medium-haul routes. The fully renovated aircraft will feature ‘Prestige Suite 2.0’ in business class, ‘New Economy’ in economy class, and will support in-flight Wi-Fi.
