ANA Modifies Final Flight Schedule for “R2-D2 ANA JET” Arriving at Haneda on the 7th Afternoon
Japan Airlines (JAL) will change the flight schedule between Chicago and Tokyo/Haneda starting from October 26.
Flight JL9’s schedule will be moved forward from the current midnight departure to an evening departure from that date. According to JAL, they anticipate improved connectivity with domestic U.S. flights, considering demand trends.
However, same-day transit from Haneda to domestic flights in Japan will no longer be possible. Passengers can transit to late-night flights to Asian destinations such as Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh, and Manila.
To coincide with the launch of the Tokyo/Narita – Chicago route, the flight schedule was previously changed from a daytime to a midnight departure starting June 1. Both routes will continue to use Boeing 777-300ER aircraft.
