APA Hotel opened an expansion wing with 176 rooms adjacent to the existing APA Hotel Niigata Tsubamesanjo Ekimae on August 1.
The expansion building is 14 stories high and offers a total of 176 rooms in five types: Single, Cozy with sofa, Deluxe Twin, DENBA Space, and Triple. Rooms are equipped with LCD TVs of 50 inches or more, universal outlets, and bedside control panels. The outlet color on the headboard is a highly visible white. The facility includes a large bath “Genyo no Yu” relocated from the existing building, coin laundry, vending machines, microwaves, ice machines, and a 28-car parking lot. The restaurant serves a breakfast buffet featuring Niigata’s local cuisine and ingredients. Combined with the existing 124 rooms, the hotel now offers a total of 300 rooms in two buildings.
The aging APA Hotel Tsubamesanjo Ekimae ceased operations on August 4 upon checkout. With this expansion, the entrance and lobby of the existing building were also renovated. The existing building will operate as the “Main Building” and the expanded wing will operate as the “East Building.”
The hotel is accessible: a 3-minute walk from JR Tsubamesanjo Station and about 3 minutes by car from the Hokuriku Expressway Sanjo-Tsubame Interchange (IC).
