
Kagaya to Demolish All Four Inns and Construct New Ones
Tokyo Station Hotel will offer the ‘Melon Afternoon Tea’, featuring seasonal melons, from July 1 to August 31.
The menu includes 4 types of sweets and scones, 4 types of savory items, and a selection of drinks. The sweets include the “Melon Shortcake”, which sandwiches cream and two types of fresh melons between two layers of sponge cake, and the “Melon Mousse”, which resembles a mini melon and contains mousse made with yogurt from Narita Yume Farm and melon jelly.
In the savory selection, guests can enjoy bite-sized “Smoked Salmon, Potato, Caper, and Onion Salad Sandwich” and “Marinated Shrimp with Truffle and Corn Flavor”. Drinks include the welcome drink “Tea Soda Marze Herb Sparkling”, along with a selection of 14 varieties of teas from Serendipity, Ronnefeldt, Betjeman & Barton, as well as coffee.
The location is the first-floor lobby lounge, with seating available from 1 PM to 6 PM for a 2-hour session. The last order for drinks is 30 minutes before closing. The price is 7,400 yen from Monday to Thursday, and 7,900 yen from Friday to Sunday and on public holidays. A glass of champagne is available for an additional 2,500 yen. Prices include tax and service charge. The service is limited to 20 guests per day, and reservations are required by noon the day before.
