Club Tourism will hold the “Day Trip on the KiHa 189 Series: Kansai Freight Line and Kyoto Railway Museum” on August 18.
This event is implemented in collaboration with JR West and the Kyoto Railway Museum. Using a three-car formation of the KiHa 189 series DMU, it will travel from Shin-Osaka Station, through Kobe Freight Terminal and Miyahara Yard, directly entering the Kyoto Railway Museum.
Participants will receive an original commemorative hard ticket set and a destination signboard. At the Kyoto Railway Museum, they can experience riding the SL Steam Train and tour the interiors of the 583 Series train and the 500 Series Shinkansen, including the driver’s cabin. Reservations are being accepted from July 23, and the tour price is 19,800 yen.
