Hulic Hotel Management will open “THE GATE HOTEL Sapporo by HULIC,” the first under The Gate Hotel brand in Hokkaido, on December 20.
The building features a basement and 20 above-ground floors, with guest rooms occupying the 11th to 20th floors. There are a total of 172 guest rooms: one “THE GATE” suite, eight “Luxe,” 70 “Classy,” 13 “Scenic,” 74 “Essential,” and six “Modest.” The guest room design, inspired by the lands of Hokkaido, aims to evoke “dynamic nature” and “overflowing vitality,” alongside “gentleness” and “warmth.”
The hotel houses a lobby on the 10th floor, where the all-day dining “Anchor Grill Sapporo” offers grill dishes made with local ingredients. The “Guest Lounge” on the top floor, exclusively for staying guests, provides a space to enjoy drinks while overlooking the cityscape of Sapporo. The hotel also features a large public bath. Reservations are already open.
The hotel is accessible by a 1-minute walk from Sapporo Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway, a 4-minute walk from JR Hokkaido Sapporo Station, and an 8-minute walk from Odori Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway.
