DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle Offers “1st Anniversary Celebration Buffet ~ World Culinary Journey ~”
Risonare Kohamajima will offer the ‘Transitional Scenic Dinner’ from October 1 to November 30.
Situated on a hilltop, the hotel’s adjacent golf course, Kohamajima Country Club, offers a special seat for one group a day, providing a view of the transitioning scenery from sunset to starry sky. It is located within the Iriomote-Ishigaki National Park, the first in Japan to be certified as a ‘Dark Sky Park’ by Dark Sky International.
During sunset, guests can enjoy the ‘Sunset Apero’, which includes pre-dinner drinks and Okinawan ingredients, while watching the sky turn crimson. After sunset, a short course dinner is served under the starry sky. The ‘Sunset Apero’ features finger foods and aperitifs using Okinawan ingredients, such as Agu pork prosciutto and sata andagi. The short course dinner offers dishes using local ingredients, with a main dish of beef cheek stew featuring the rich aroma of shell ginger and a dessert of panna cotta using jimami tofu.
The time is from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM in October, and begins 30 minutes earlier in November. The price is 30,000 yen, tax and service charge included. Limited to one group a day, with up to four people per group. Reservations are required seven days in advance.
