Mandarin Oriental will open “Mandarin Oriental Desaru Coast,” a hotel and residence facility in Desaru Coast, Johor, Malaysia, in January 2026.
The facility, previously operated as One & Only Desaru Coast, will be rebranded, making it the second hotel under this brand in Malaysia. The hotel will offer a total of 44 suites and villas. Most rooms, except some, will feature private gardens and plunge pools. Additionally, there will be five dining facilities including a casual lounge bar, wellness facilities such as a spa, and banquet halls. The opening of 40 residential facilities is also planned.
Activities include access to two championship courses: the 27-hole “Ocean Course” and the 18-hole “Valley Course.”
