Hilton Hiroshima will offer ‘The Enchanted Rose – Beauty and the Beast Afternoon Tea’ from September 1 to October 31.
Inspired by the French fairy tale ‘Beauty and the Beast’, the sweets are displayed on an original stand adorned with roses. There are nine types of sweets in total, including ‘Rose d’Amour’, which is decorated with heart-shaped chocolate symbolizing ‘true love’; ‘Blue Noble’, which features lime jelly inside a vivid blue heart reminiscent of the Beast’s attire; and ‘Citron Elegance’, attracting attention with yellow like Belle’s ball gown. There are five savory dishes, such as ‘Beast Gravlax Rose’, with salmon marinated in beets beautifully arranged to resemble rose petals atop herb sour cream, and ‘Secret Garden Bites’, roast beef tartare slow-cooked and wrapped in crispy baklava pastry, inspired by a gorgeous garden.
The drinks include 15 varieties of tea leaves, offered by the pot for unlimited consumption, from the British luxury tea brand ‘JING TEA’ such as ‘Darjeeling Second Flush’ and ‘Earl Grey’, to herbal teas like ‘Lemongrass & Ginger’, ‘Whole Peppermint’, and ‘Blackcurrant & Hibiscus’. Coffee is from the Italian brand ‘illy’.
The location is Bar & Lounge ZATTA. The hours are from noon to 5:30 PM, with a 2-hour limit. The price is 4,500 yen, including tax and service charge. Limited to 40 couples a day.
