Cathay Pacific Airways has renovated and reopened its lounge at Beijing Capital International Airport.
This follows the reopening of “The Bridge” at Hong Kong International Airport in May, as part of a major lounge enhancement plan in Hong Kong and other major cities.
The reception has been changed from the traditional counter design to a podium style, first introduced at “The Bridge.” Newly, a Lounge Ambassador has been introduced outside Hong Kong for the first time, providing detailed and personalized customer service.
The main lounge area creates a home-like atmosphere and comfort, with spaces for those prioritizing privacy. The dining area features a noodle bar, food hall, and the first tea house outside Hong Kong. The noodle bar offers Chinese dishes like wontons, dan dan noodles, and Beijing-style douchi noodles.
This summer, Cathay Pacific Airways operates seven daily flights on the Hong Kong-Beijing/Capital route. In Mainland China, it operates up to 300 flights weekly to 23 cities, with lounges at Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Shekou Cruise Terminal in Shenzhen.
