
Air France launches new-cabin Embraer E190 operations from September 1
American Airlines is expanding its premium long-haul route seat “Flagship Suite” operations with the Boeing 787-9 aircraft.
The Flagship Suite was announced in 2022 as the latest business class seat. It began operation with one round trip each on the Chicago-London/Heathrow and Los Angeles routes from June 5.
From July 5, it started to be introduced on all flights of the Chicago-London/Heathrow route, and from August 6, 2026, until January 5, it will be on the Philadelphia-London/Heathrow route; from September 3 to October 24 on the Philadelphia-Zurich route; from October 25, 2026, to March 28 on the Dallas/Fort Worth-Brisbane route; from October 26, 2026, to January 5 on the Dallas/Fort Worth-Buenos Aires route; and from January 5 to March 28, 2026, on the Dallas/Fort Worth-Auckland route for a limited time. On the Dallas/Fort Worth-London/Heathrow route, it will be introduced with one round trip per day from October 26 to December 2, and will increase to two round trips per day from December 3 to January 5.
