AIRDO and Hotel Metropolitan Kawasaki will hold the ‘AIRDO Hokkaido Direct Market’ on August 23 and 24.
At JR Kawasaki Station Central South Entrance, they will sell three types of corn (Snow Fairy, Gold Rush, Superior Corn Gravis), asparagus, and broccoli, all delivered directly by air. The market will also feature aged potato sets, alpine leek Genghis Khan, scallop soup, and Bear-Do plush toys. The event will be held from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM on the 23rd, and from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM on the 24th.
In the in-house restaurant ‘Terrace and Table’, they will serve boiled “Snow Fairy,” a rare corn with a sugar content of about 16 degrees. Utilizing the freshness from air transport, it will be available for lunch and dinner on the 23rd and 24th. Lunch is served from 11:00 AM to 3:10 PM, and dinner from 5:00 PM to 9:30 PM (last admission at 7:30 PM). The price is 5,300 yen for adult lunch, 6,900 yen for dinner, 2,600 yen for children’s lunch, 3,400 yen for dinner, 1,300 yen for infant lunch, and 1,700 yen for dinner, all including tax and service charges.
