
Cathay Pacific Airways Renovates Lounge at Beijing Capital International Airport
JAL JTA Sales has started selling pickled sushi from the Izakaya Sushi restaurant “Uminohana” in Ishigaki Island at the Coralway shop in Ishigaki Airport.
The sushi uses yellowfin tuna and bigfin reef squid, caught near Ishigaki Island, that are marinated in a special soy sauce and aged overnight. The rice used for the sushi is “Hoshinokaisha,” a certified specialty product of Ishigaki Island. Similar to “island sushi,” which is believed to have originated in Hachijo Island, the vinegared rice is sweetly seasoned and is served with mustard paste.
The price is 1,300 yen (tax included). It is available for purchase except on Thursdays.
