JAL Receives New A350-900 After 3 Years and 4 Months, 17th Aircraft Arrives at Haneda
Japan Airlines (JAL) will deploy the Airbus A350-1000 daily on the Tokyo/Haneda–Paris/Charles de Gaulle route starting November 9.
Initially, the deployment began every other day from May 1, and from May 5 to June 30 and August 27 to September 30, JAL operated one round trip per day due to aircraft rotation.
The Airbus A350-1000 is JAL’s new international flagship aircraft, succeeding the Boeing 777-300ER, the mainstay of long-haul international flights. The cabin is configured with four classes, offering a total of 239 seats: six seats in First Class in a “1-1-1” configuration, 54 seats in Business Class in a “1-2-1” configuration, 24 seats in Premium Economy Class in a “2-4-2” configuration, and 155 seats in Economy Class in a “3-3-3” configuration. For the first time, JAL has introduced suite-type seats with doors in both First and Business Classes. In-flight entertainment (IFE) systems feature 4K resolution monitors across all classes, with Bluetooth connectivity for wireless headphones.
