Hotel InterContinental Tokyo Bay will offer the “Peter Rabbit Potluck Halloween Afternoon Tea” from September 1 to October 31.
The concept is a Halloween party where Peter and his friends each bring their own sweets and dishes. The sweets lineup includes carrot cake inspired by Timmy’s tail, cake arranged in Libby’s clothing colors, verrine topped with berries harvested by Peter’s sisters, shortbread decorated with chocolate inspired by Johnny’s tail and hat, and pistachio mousse representing Benjamin’s hat and handkerchief.
Special dishes feature macarons in Peter’s jacket color and a coffee chestnut Eton mess using red currants from Mr. McGregor’s garden. Savory selections include green pea quiche expressing Todd’s clothing color, couscous salad inspired by Duchess carrying a bouquet, caprese with mozzarella cheese shaped like Tom’s paw prints, and garden waffles using vegetables harvested from Mr. McGregor’s garden. Beverages include 28 varieties of tea starting with Whittard’s.
The offering time at the 1st floor New York Lounge is from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM. The price starts from 7,700 yen. The in-room dining service is from 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM, starting from 6,600 yen.
In addition to the regular plan, they offer a special mocktail plan inspired by Peter, a plan to take home a flower pick of character with flowers, and a limited event where you can take commemorative photos with Peter.
