ZIPAIR Tokyo will launch mobile check-in starting August 28.
From 24 hours to 90 minutes before departure, passengers can check in using their smartphones or tablet devices via the URL in the email received 24 hours before departure, or from the flight details on the website. It requires reading passport information via the device’s camera. After completing check-in, a mobile boarding pass is displayed, allowing direct access to security checkpoints and boarding gates. It can also be used in conjunction with the TSA PreCheck program.
This service will be available for Tokyo/Narita to Honolulu, San Francisco, San Jose, and Los Angeles routes from August 28, and for the Tokyo/Narita to Houston route from August 29.
Passengers requiring airport staff verification, such as those who have pre-assigned emergency exit seats, or those with unpaid services in their reservation, are not eligible for mobile check-in.
