Credit Saison to Refund Annual Fees as Priority Pass Benefit Goes Digital and Downgrades to Standard

Japan’s Credit Saison will refund annual fees due to changes to the “Priority Pass” benefit offered with its Saison Card Gold.

Applications to issue the physical “Priority Pass” card will close at 5:00 p.m. on October 30, and from 12:00 noon on November 4 a digital membership card usable on smartphones will be provided. After applying for the digital membership card, or on/after December 1, the physical card will no longer be usable.

Furthermore, the provided plan will be downgraded from Prestige to Standard. While the annual fee will drop from 11,000 yen (tax included) to free, a lounge access fee of USD 35 per visit will apply.

Annual fees will be refunded to members whose expiration falls from December through August 2028. Members will not be eligible if the card has been canceled prior to the refund, there are payment delinquencies, or there is no registered bank account for the transfer at the time of remittance.
