Kyoritsu Maintenance opened Natural Hot Spring Higo no Yu Onyado Nono Kumamoto on August 20 in Kumamoto, Japan.
The building has 11 floors. There are 191 guest rooms across four types: double, twin, quadruple, and universal (accessible) rooms.
Facilities include two large public baths with natural hot spring water, an open-air bath, a high-temperature dry sauna, a cold-water bath, a post-bath relaxation area, a manga corner, a laundry area, a restaurant, and a smoking area. Dining features a Japanese-Western buffet of about 50 items, including local specialties such as Akaushi minced cutlets and a kobachi (small bowls) alley highlighting seasonal ingredients.
The Grand Opening Plan accommodation package has been on sale since August 20. Rates for a double room with breakfast start from JPY 11,200 for single occupancy and from JPY 8,100 for double occupancy. All prices include tax.
Access: a 6-minute walk from Karashimacho Station on the Kumamoto City Tram, and about 30 minutes by car from the Kyushu Expressway Kumamoto Interchange (IC).
