Rihga Royal Hotel Kyoto in Kyoto, Japan, will offer a “Shine Muscat Afternoon Tea Set” from September 1 to October 31.
The set includes an aperitif (original non-alcoholic drink: white grape juice × lemon verbena); as the centerpiece, a “Muscat Chiffon Cake Sandwich” with fluffy, moist sponge lavishly filled with refined whipped cream and Shine Muscat grapes; and a “Muscat and No-Bake Cheesecake” that elegantly marries the sweetness of Shine Muscat with the refreshing tang of cheesecake. In total, there are seven sweets and nine savory items. Beverages include coffee, black tea, herbal teas, and non-alcoholic cocktails.
Served in the lounge inside “All Day Dining Kaza.” Seating is limited to 120 minutes between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (last order). Price: 6,325 yen, tax and service charge included. Limited to 10 sets per day.
