Singapore Airlines will enhance its KrisFlyer loyalty program.
From September 1, members will be able to earn status credits even on non-flight activity. Eligible services are Kris+, KrisShop, and Pelago. PPS Club members will earn 1 PPS Value for every 3 Singapore dollars spent, while KrisFlyer members will earn 1 Elite mile for every 1 Singapore dollar spent.
From November 1, the airline will introduce a new award ticket option and revise existing award and upgrade redemptions. The new option, “Access,” will allow instant seat confirmation on the desired flight when availability exists. The miles required will vary based on availability. Fixed-rate redemptions will continue to be offered as before.
Also from the same date, the miles required for award tickets and upgrades on Singapore Airlines and partner airlines will change. The required miles will decrease by 5% for Economy Saver awards in the Asia and South West Pacific zone, while most other cases will see increases. This is the first revision since July 2022.
