Grand Prince Hotel Osaka Bay in Osaka, Japan, will host “Muscat Mania!”, an afternoon tea that lavishly features Shine Muscat—one of Japan’s quintessential autumn flavors—available on weekends and holidays only from September 6 to October 13.
The “Shine Muscat and Grape Parfait,” served one per person, layers a base of blueberry and cassis compote and white chocolate cream, then tops it generously with refreshingly sweet grape sorbet and plenty of Shine Muscat, finishing with edible flowers and a hint of rosemary aroma. Pancakes offered in a buffet style can be enjoyed with a total of six creams and sauces, including chocolate cream and caramel sauce.
The afternoon tea stand features items such as “Shine Muscat Cheese Tart,” “Verrine Shine Muscat Shortcake,” “Shine Muscat Éclair,” plus three kinds of savories. Beverages include 10 varieties of Ronnefeldt tea (free refills), coffee, café latte, and cappuccino.
Location: Coffee & Sweets “Lobby Lounge.” Seating times: two seatings, starting at noon and at 3:00 p.m.; each seating is 2 hours. Price: Adults JPY 5,800; children ages 6–12 JPY 3,480.
