Air China held “Air China Day” on August 17 at the China Pavilion of Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai in Japan.
The theme was “Wholeheartedly by Your Side, Walking with Love.” Group Vice President Yan Fei and Acting Consul General Fang Wei of the Consulate-General of China in Osaka delivered remarks and, marking the 50th anniversary of service, outlined future priorities: digitalization and environmental measures centered on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF).
In the talk session “The Air China Story,” cabin crew, ground staff, and a PhoenixMiles Platinum member took the stage and, drawing on on-the-ground cases and continued-use experiences, introduced the service philosophy “Four Hearts.”
The event also featured an erhu performance and traditional folk dance, a model display of China’s domestically produced C919 passenger aircraft, giveaways of limited-edition merchandise, commemorative photo opportunities with the official mascot “Pang Anda,” and a prize drawing.
