ANA X is selling, through ANA Travelers, the “Noto Reconstruction Volunteer Tour, Part 2 — Connecting Hearts to Noto”.
Using the scheduled Tokyo/Haneda–Noto (Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan) service, the tour is set up so participants from across Japan can join via Haneda Airport. In addition to disaster-relief volunteer activities such as clearing household belongings and removing mud in and around Wajima City, and assisting moves into temporary housing, the itinerary includes a ride on the Noto Railway “Earthquake Storyteller Sightseeing Train” (between Nanao and Anamizu stations, about 50 minutes), a chinkin gold-inlay engraving experience of Wajima-nuri lacquerware, and visits to Noto Shokusai Market and Noto Winery.
The project originated from an employee proposal program and is ANA’s first disaster-relief volunteer tour. The first edition was operated in April to and from Kansai Airport with 30 participants.
The itinerary is for 1 night and 2 days, with travel dates on September 27–28 and October 17–18. Capacity is 30 participants. The price is 35,000 yen for the September 27 departure and 38,000 yen for the October 18 departure, tax included.
