Hokkaido JR Urban Development and Misawa Home will open JR Mobile Inn Hakodate in January 2026.
They will install Misawa Home’s trailer house, “MISAWA UNIT MOBILITY ‘MOVE CORE’,” on a site adjacent to JR Hakodate Station in Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan, and open it as an unmanned, trailer house–style lodging facility. This will be the fourth JR Mobile Inn.
Guestrooms will consist of five rooms made from ten trailers arranged in pairs. Each room accommodates up to four guests, and all rooms offer train views. Inside, each unit features a spacious bedroom, a living room with bunk beds, a shower room, and a toilet. Outside, a wood-deck terrace will be provided.
